Memorial Tree on Village Green |

At the same time as preparing the site for the tree, Councillors also began tidying the area around the Green itself. |

Update.........17 June 2002.........We are still awaiting delivery of the tree (which is an unusual variety) and it will now be planted in the Autumn 2002. |

Preparations have begun for the planting of a new tree on the Village Green. The lime tree is being planted in memory of Jack Hartas who sadly died last year. For many years, Jack ensured that the village was kept exceptionally clean and tidy as well as the maintaining the Village |
