Nigel Adams Visits Riccall

Parliamentary candidate, Nigel Adams, recently visited Riccall to look at local achievements and issues. He met with Cllrs Keen and Adamson and Clerk to the Council, Lindsey Ryan to view many of the superb facilities that Riccall enjoys. After a tour of the recreational facilities, including the new skatepark, Mr Adams looked at the Millennium Green, the former Riccall mine site and spent time looking at some of the access issues from Riccall onto the A19. He then received a guided tour of the Regen Centre from Mr Chris Stephenson.

After his visit, Mr Adams wrote to the Council to express his thanks and to say that he was ‘very impressed with what has been done in the village in recent years’, going on to state that, ‘other villages could certainly learn from what has been achieved in Riccall.’
