The website of Riccall Parish Council (RiccallPC.com) has been awarded runner up in the “Local Council Review Web Site of the Year Award 2002” This national competition was open to all Parish and Town Councils and the award demonstrates how active the Parish Council of Riccall is. |

Commenting on the site the Judges said “You will come away from the site knowing what you need to find out, but most importantly it will leave you wanting to learn more - a fine example of a parish council web site” |

Chairman of the Council Howard Adamson commented “We are delighted to have our new website recognised in these awards. The site has only been in existence since the begining of the year and has already attracted a great deal of interest and positive feedback. We hope that the site will continue to grow and become an invaluable information source for people in the Village, to find out not only about the Parish Council but also other activities and events. The award demonstrates that even on a small budget, a website can be constructed and managed that is a real asset to the community.” |
